About this place
At one time, only employees of the Gotthardbahn-Gesellschaft and later SBB were allowed into the Lokremise Erstfeld. Today, the depot opens its doors exclusively for you and your group as part of discovery tours. Or visit Erlebnis Depot Erstfeld on the first Saturday of every month from April to October. Experience a unique place and immerse yourself in the history of the monumental Gotthard-Bergstrecke. On your visit, locomotive giants such as the legendary Ce 6/8 II 14253, «Krokodil», should of course not be missing.
