About this place
Clinging to the mountain above the Rhône, Saint-Maurice Castle (15th-17th c.) is usually open from mid-April to mid-November. Since 2005, it has hosted major temporary exhibitions for all audiences on drawing, press cartoons and comics. It also presents a permanent exhibition on its history, which is usually accessed via the temporary exhibition. It is one of the main places for the exhibition of drawn storytelling in French-speaking Switzerland.
