About this place
The Spielzeug Welten Museum Basel, in the heart of Basel, is the largest of its kind in Europe. More than 6000 exhibits are displayed in imaginatively arranged scenes. Visitors can admire dolls, grocery shops, doll’s houses from days gone by and new 1:12 miniatures made to scale. The Spielzeug Welten Museum Basel houses the world’s largest collection of old teddy bears, with over 2500 Teddys – Teddys that are already quite old: the oldest date back to 1904.
