Description
This ticket combines your journey on the RailCoaster from Basel with admission to Europa-Park. You’ll travel early morning in a comfortable train with free seating, no classes, dining car, Wi-Fi, or family zone, heading directly towards Rust and arriving refreshed at the leisure park. During the ride, you can enjoy breakfast and plan the day together. At Ringsheim station, a shuttle will take you directly to the entrance, where you can start your experience without detours. Europa-Park offers 17 European-themed areas, thrilling roller coasters, numerous attractions, and an exciting show program. In the evening, you can conveniently board the RailCoaster again and unwind pleasantly on the return trip.
Practical Information
- The RailCoaster starts and ends in Zurich. However, the connection between Zurich and Basel is not included in the ticket and must be purchased separately. The GA, Swiss Travel Pass, and Half-Fare Card are valid for travel to Basel.
- The shuttle buses back to the Ringsheim station leave Europa-Park around 6:50 pm, right next to the guesthouse by the park (near the main exit, see the red arrow in the photo). Departure times may vary. Check the exact time when you arrive or consult the timetable at www.sbb.ch.
- From Basel, you can choose any seat on the RailCoaster (no class restrictions).
- The RailCoaster is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.
- Dogs can ride for free on the RailCoaster from Basel.
- Europa-Park opens at 9:00 am
RailCoaster Timetable
The RailCoaster runs every Saturday from March 28 to October 31, 2026, departing from Zurich HB. However, the ticket is only valid from Basel.

Exclusive shuttle buses await you at Ringsheim/Europa-Park station. They will get you to the Europa-Park main entrance in about 15 minutes. After an eventful day, the buses leave at around 18:50, right next to the guesthouse in the park (near the main exit).
