Description
The boat takes approximately one hour for the simple crossing between Lucerne and Vitznau. Along the way, you pass by forested hills and charming villages. From the boat, you can see the Bürgenstock. The Rigi mountain massif is directly approached by the boat. In Vitznau, you connect to the Vitznau–Rigi Kulm cog railway if you'd like to visit the Queen of the Mountains.

Traveling with your dog
- Taking small dogs up to 30 cm is free of charge if they stay in a transport container for the entire journey. The container must be placed under your seat.
- Dogs without a container and all dogs taller than 30 cm at the shoulder require a valid dog ticket: half-price for second class or the minimum fare (dog day ticket, dog pass). They must sit under the seat so as not to block the walkway for other passengers.
