Day ticket Lake Brienz by boat

Travel as often as you like during a day between Interlaken Ost and Brienz by boat. Disembark at any stop to visit a village or harbour, or walk along the shoreline to the next boat stop. With this card, you can enjoy a full day of flexibility and hop on and off as you wish. Please check the current schedules. Not all stops are served on each cruise. Routes vary depending on the departure.

Practical information:

• Family day pass available for 2 adults and up to 4 children aged 16 and under
• Suitable for: families, wheelchair users, dogs
• Picnicking allowed (not in the restaurant)

• On all BLS passenger ships, access to the main deck (second class) is possible.\n+ Accessible toilets for wheelchair users are available on all passenger ships.\n+ On the ships MS Stadt Thun and MS Berner Oberland, the upper deck (first class) can be reached by lift (no electric wheelchairs).

• Small dogs up to 30 cm in height can travel free of charge if they stay in a transport container for the entire journey.
• Dogs without a container and all dogs over 30 cm shoulder height require a valid dog ticket at half the price of second class, up to a maximum of CHF 10.00 (dog day pass).
• The dog day pass and the SBB dog GA are valid on all cruise ship trips.
• Dogs are allowed both indoors on the ship and in the ship's restaurant.

At Brinzersee, you have the option to hike between the stops and reboard at the next stop. The hiking times vary:

• Interlaken Ost to Ringgenberg: approximately 1 hour
• Ringgenberg to Niederried and Niederried to Oberried, each around 1.5 hours
• Brienz to Oberried approximately 2.5 hours.
• Getting off at Giessbach See station takes you directly to the nearby Giessbach Falls, which cascade down in 14 steps.
