Basel Tattoo Ticket, July 11-19, 2025, Basel Kaserne

The Basel Tattoo is a music festival that takes place every July in Basel. It is the second-largest tattoo event in the world after the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and is held in the courtyard of the Kaserne Basel.

The program includes international music and dance groups, featuring the Massed Pipes and Drums with around 200 bagpipers and drummers.

The event offers a diverse mix of military music, traditional dance, and cultural performances from various countries.

Top Secret Drum Corps:

• The Basel drum stars are back with new choreography and spectacular drumming tricks. ​

Scottish Classics:

• For the first time, all the great melodies from the Highlands like "Amazing Grace", "Highland Cathedral" and "Scotland the Brave" will be brought together in one show, performed by 200 bagpipers. ​

International Brass Band Elite:

• The United States Air Force Band will perform in Basel for the first time, accompanied by the Bands of His Majesty’s Royal Marines and the Swiss Armed Forces Central Band. ​

Flings and Things Highland Dancers:

• They enrich the show with innovative choreography and dynamic, elegant dance performances.

• There are special seats available for wheelchair users and their companions.
• These can only be booked directly through the event organizer.

Basel Tattoo Parade:

• Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 2:00 PM
• All formations from the Basel Tattoo and various guest formations will parade through the streets of Basel.

Tattoo Street:

• From July 11 to 19, 2025
• A city festival in the area around the Kaserne featuring culinary offerings and a musical event program.

Children's Day:

• Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
• Kids can try out instruments and interact with the performers.
