SwissActivities tip

The Panorama High-Altitude Trail is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful winter hikes at Pizol. The very short trail from Pardiel to Prodkopf and back is an easy, enjoyable walk for the whole family. A viewing tower and a giant swing are popular attractions at Prodkopf, a place of power. The Panorama High-Altitude Trail passes Wangsersee, where there’s a mountain hut serving food and drink. In winter, Wangsersee turns into a huge ice rink. Laufböden sits like a vast terrace at 2,222 m a.s.l., with views of the St. Gallen Rhine Valley and the Churfirsten. You’ll find restaurants at the start and end points of all the signposted trails, where you can refuel.
