Swiss Activity Tip
The Brissago Islands are divided into Isola Grande and Isola Piccola. The botanical garden on Isola Grande is definitely worth visiting. Alongside Mediterranean plants, you'll also find subtropical specimens here. Thanks to the particularly mild climate at Lake Maggiore, various themed areas have been created. For example, they recreate vegetation from southeastern Australian coasts, South Africa's Cape region, and central Chile.
