Detective trail with treasure chest in Wirzweli

On the Wirzweli Detective Trail, you follow Detective Badger through a natural area above the Engelberg valley. The route takes you along forest paths, meadows, and beside the Steinibach stream. Along the way, you solve a variety of puzzles and learn interesting facts about the surroundings. Views of the Stanserhorn and the mountain scenery accompany your journey.

The approximately 4.1 km long trail passes the Owl Path, alpine meadows, and the mountain farm. The witches' playground is also along the discovery tour. From all the solutions, you form a four-digit code. With it, you open the treasure chest at the finish and receive a small reward.

This trail is not suitable for strollers.

Dogs are allowed on this trail.

You can start without an appointment. After purchasing, you decide whether to solve the puzzles digitally on your smartphone or with the printed treasure map.

At the starting point, follow the illustrated directions from station to station. Along the way, you solve various puzzles using clues you find on site. This lets you discover interesting and surprising facts about the area.

At the end, use the correct answers to create a four-digit code. With this code, you open the treasure chest and pick a small instant prize.
