Description
On this e-bike tour, you'll ride from the Interlaken region over the Brünig Pass towards Meiringen and into the Rosenlaui Valley. Along the way, you'll pass rivers, forests, and small villages, enjoying stunning views of distinctive peaks time and again. In the Rosenlaui Valley, you can visit a traditional sawmill or a farm and gain insight into local crafts.
Another highlight is the view of the historic Hotel Rosenlaui, welcoming guests in this Alpine landscape since the 19th century. Depending on the tour, there’s time to explore the Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge with its waterfalls and narrow rock passages. On the return trip, new perspectives open up on the valley, mountains, and waterways before you reach the Interlaken region again.

Route details
- 8:00 – 8:20 am Pickup from one of the designated meeting points in the Interlaken area.
- 8:20 – 9:00 am Meet your guide and ride with the minibus (carrying bikes) towards Rosenlaui, where your adventure begins.
- 9:00 – 9:30 am Get acquainted with your e-bike, pick your helmet, and receive a brief introduction before you set off.
- 9:30 – 10:30 am Start your journey through the stunning Rosenlaui Valley — cycling over peaceful alpine meadows and admiring the historic Rosenlaui Hotel.
- 10:30 – 11:30 am Visit the impressive Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge and explore its beautiful natural landscape, shaped over centuries by ice and water.
- 11:30 am – 12:30 pm Discover the traditional sawmill at Schwarzwaldalp and travel back in time to experience a piece of authentic Swiss heritage.
- 12:30 – 1:30 pm Lunch break at the Brochhütte — a cosy mountain hut with panoramic views. Enjoy a local cheese tasting and relax amidst the Alps.
- 1:30 – 2:30 pm Continue your ride through pristine alpine terrain up to the Grosse Scheidegg, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Eiger, Grindelwald, and First — a memorable highlight of your adventure.
- 2:30 – 3:15 pm Scenic descent through the valley, offering a fresh perspective on the landscape. Optional short visit to the Reichenbach Falls if time allows.
- Around 4:00 pm Return to Interlaken.
- Total distance: 27 km. Private tours can be adjusted along the way.
