"Christmas Train Lucerne" City Tour

You board the festively decorated Christmas train and relax as you travel through the illuminated streets of Lucerne. The ride offers you a unique view of the most beautiful spots in the old town, making the Advent season a special experience.

The tour takes you through the city of Lucerne, past beautifully decorated squares and nicely lit alleys. Along the way, you'll hear the stories of Samichlaus and the Christ Child.

For example, you learn how the Christmas tree came into our homes and since when strings of lights have been adorning our streets and buildings. Christmas music and a warm punch accompany you throughout the journey.

Feeling a bit chilly after wandering around snowy Lucerne? Then head to the cocktail bar “Suite” right by the station. Several cosy fireplaces are burning in the bar. Thanks to the view high above Lucerne’s rooftops, you can now also enjoy the Christmas lights from above.
