The Karlsruhe Christkindlesmarkt is open from 23 November to 23 December 2026, Sun–Thu 11:00–21:00, Fri and Sat 11:00–22:00. It occupies Marktplatz with the «Lichtweihnacht» and Friedrichsplatz with the «Waldweihnacht», and the Kinderland on Kirchplatz St. Stephan is added. The market has been held in the city centre since 1972.

On Marktplatz decorated stalls stand around the mulled wine pyramid, and on Friedrichsplatz the gabled huts of the Waldweihnacht with crafts and specialities. The culture hut presents the programme of Karlsruhe's theatres, museums and galleries.
