Boat trip ticket from Lausanne to Chillon Castle and back

This 3-hour boat cruise takes you past the stunning vineyards of Lavaux, the Alpine peaks in the canton of Vaud, and the Hochsavoyen region. At the end of the journey, you'll also visit the historic Chillon Castle. The cruise departs from Lausanne-Ouchy aboard the paddle steamship Belle Époque. Along the way, you'll pass the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Lavaux vineyards. The view of the vineyards from the boat is truly unique.

Afterwards, you'll arrive at Chillon Castle. This famous castle is situated on an oval rocky island and was originally built as a control point for the route between northern and southern Europe. If you wish to take a break, you can alight here and catch the next boat back to Lausanne. Please check the current timetable for details.

During the boat trip, you have the option to enjoy a snack. For lunch, a reservation in advance is recommended.

You can board or disembark at any station, but there are only 3 trips per day. We recommend checking the timetable in advance and choosing a disembarkation point.

Passengers:

• Free up to 30 cm shoulder height
• Half price for second class over 30 cm shoulder height, even if you booked first class as a guest
• Tickets are available at the Cologne/Bonn station

Wheelchair:

• Ships are accessible for "standard" wheelchairs, but only on the main deck (upper deck accessible only via stairs)
• Wide passenger gangways at all major docking points; at smaller docks, wider (electric) wheelchairs may not pass.

Pushchairs:

• Can stay on the main deck if you wish to visit the upper deck

• With first class tickets, restaurant areas on the main deck and upper deck are accessible at all times
• With second class tickets, the restaurant area is only open during meal times
