Hiking Ticket Grindelwald - Bort with the First Railway

Travel easily with the Firstbahn between Grindelwald and Bort, one way or return. The 6-seat cable car takes 11 minutes for a one-way trip. In Bort, you have the opportunity to visit the alpine playground. Its use is free of charge.

• Valley station: Grindelwald (1065 m above sea level)
• Intermediate station: Bort (1570 m above sea level)

• The valley station is about an 8-minute walk from Grindelwald train station
• In bad weather, operations may be halted
• Dogs travel free of charge

• Hike 13 (yellow): Bort to Bussalp (Sonnenweg) 1:50 hours
• Hike 14 (yellow): Bort to Aellfluh 0:50 hours
• Hike 15 (yellow): Bort to Grindelwald (Note: used in summer for trotti bike descents and in winter for sledging descents)
• Hike 16 (yellow): Bort - Lower Lauchbühl to Wetterhorn (Enzian trail) 1:45 hours

Want to combine an adventurous descent with a mountain hike? In winter, you can sled from Bort to Grindelwald. In summer, you have the option to rent a trotti bike. With it, you can also ride down to Grindelwald during summer if you like.
