Ticino Canoe Family Tour starting from Cresciano

This canoe trip takes you down the Ticino River near Cresciano. You’ll enjoy clear water, gravel banks, lively waves, and the scenic Ticino mountain landscape along the river. Depending on the family, you either navigate your own boat or complete the trip together with the guides.

After the introduction and handing over the equipment, you begin on the river. The route leads towards Bellinzona and Arbedo. Clothing and valuables are transported to the endpoint.

This trip is targeted at families. On the water, you experience togetherness, nature, and an active canoeing adventure.

Route:

• 8 km, from Cresciano to Arbedo

• Required: average swimming skills and good general health
• No special fitness level needed
• When wearing a wetsuit: tight-fitting functional underwear or ski underwear made of synthetic fiber or merino Cotton is not suitable under the wetsuit
• Glasses or contact lenses are possible; recommended are a strap and a waterproof case for glasses
• Remove jewelry and piercings before the tour

• Public transport: Travel to the starting point in Cresciano, get off at Cresciano Paese stop, and return directly from the end of the canoe tour at Abredo Molinazzo stop.
• Car: Park either at the start (Agriturismo La Finca) or at the finish (parking lots in front of Camping Bellinzona) and do one leg by public transport.
