Description
You meet the pilot at the bottom station of the cable car, who accompanies you to the launch site. The short hike from the mountain station takes only about a minute.
The pilot will now lay out the glider with you, check the lines and tighten the straps. You will receive a detailed briefing from the pilot. Afterwards you will take off together with a few quick steps. Now you fly over St. Moritz and glide calmly over green meadows and glassy lakes. After about 10 minutes you float down to the landing site.
**Practical information
- Bring along: Walking shoes, long pants, warm windproof jacket, sunglasses
Swiss Activities Tip
Corviglia is the local mountain of St. Moritz. Corviglia is reached from St. Moritz via the Corviglia cable car, a funicular railroad. In the first section it is also called Chantarella cable car. In winter, this is a very popular ski resort. In summer there is alpine hiking. Trails for mountain bikers and trail runners are particularly varied. Impressive stone worlds alternate with lush alpine meadows. The view goes to St.Moritz and the Engadine lake district (Silsersee, Silvaplanersee and St. Moritzersee).
