Swiss Activities Tip

Solothurn is famous for its Solothurner cake. This cake features a fluffy biscuit base and lid, filled with a hazelnut meringue. In between, there's a heavenly cream filling. Treat yourself to a delightful moment on your tour and enjoy a piece of Solothurner cake. And don't forget to stop by the Vitaminstation, the best gelateria in town.

Info for school classes

  • A school class can have up to 25 people (students and adult supervisors).
  • It’s a good idea to divide the class into several teams, ideally with no more than 8 people per team.
  • After booking, you’ll receive a code for the game. This code can be redeemed by all participants, so a maximum of 25 times. By this point, it should already be clear which students belong to which team.
  • A team member clicks the "Create Team" button and gives the team a name. The team members then click on "Join Team" to join using the team name.
  • Teams should start with a stagger of about 2-3 minutes so they can’t simply follow each other.
  • Generally, everyone plays on their own smartphone. By answering the questions on their phones, participants can compete against each other and see a ranking of all players, making it even more fun.
  • If not every child in a class has a smartphone with internet access, the game can still be played. Those kids can join another child's smartphone. Each team should have the same number of smartphones available. Every team needs at least one smartphone.
