Save the city from freezing! A tricky case leaves the police baffled; they need your wits and sense of movement. Who is «Rudolf»? Why does he turn up at the police? What’s the story with the dancing? And above all: where is the dangerous instrument hidden? A tricky case. The police are at a loss. Somehow, the puzzles seem to be about movement and dance, because «Rudolf» keeps talking about how the dance heritage has been forgotten. Out of the blue, a man appears at the police station and threatens to freeze the whole city. He talks about the forgotten dance heritage and compares himself with the famous dancers Rudolf Nurejev and Rudolf von Laban. The police suspect it is somehow about dance, but remain puzzled. One thing is certain: at five places in the city, «Rudolf», as he calls himself, has hidden part of the password. You need it to neutralise the instrument he has placed. If it sounds, everyone in the city will freeze. Set off on Mission Rudolf and get to the bottom of the mystery of the forgotten dance heritage. The police hand you strange files that apparently contain clues to the hidden places. Can you solve the puzzles? «MISSION RUDOLF» is a new kind of game with puzzles, city exploration, facts from art and culture, and an adventurous story. Movement and smart combining will put you on the right track to neutralise the bomb before it goes off. Will you reach all five places in the city in time and crack the code so the city remains in motion? The puzzle trail «MISSION RUDOLF» can be downloaded free of charge from an app store (Google Play / Apple). Using this app, players enter the imaginary criminal case around «Mad Man» Rudolf and are led on the approx. two-and-a-half-hour trail to culturally interesting places. There, they solve movement puzzles, learn about artists from the world of dance and get to know the city not only through its cultural heritage, but also by saving it from freezing. Track hunters, get ready. Be at least 2 people when you start the app. Ideally, form groups of 3 to 5 people aged 8 and over (with accompaniment) per device and app started. What do we need? You need a fully charged smartphone or tablet (Apple/Android) that can play sound and take photos, the app «Mission Rudolf» and comfortable shoes. Then you’re ready to go! Where can we find the app? The starting point of the puzzle trail is wherever you are, and it is not tied to any time. The trail leads you to several places in the city of Zug. How long are we out for? The game lasts around two and a half hours. However, this also depends on how quickly you solve the puzzles, combine the clues and move from place to place on foot. If you go by bike or scooter, the game time is shorter. It is also possible to explore the puzzle trail over several days. Additional tips You may want to take notes during the puzzle trail.
