Two Dames and James – an evening full of swing, wit and vocal power When Corinne Jenny, Claudia Boss and Peter John Farrowski step on stage, a small line-up turns into a sonic wonder: three voices that weave together perfectly, carried by infectious joy in performing and impressive vocal acrobatics. “Two Dames and James” stand for handmade music, three-part singing and a distinctive mix of swing, jazz, musical and pop – charmingly seasoned with a good dose of humour. From legendary songs of the 1940s to timeless classics: each piece has been arranged especially for the trio and makes their special energy shine. The three are accompanied by pianist and musical director Alan Sokol, as well as Arpi Ketterl on double bass and Frank Denzinger on drums – an ensemble that creates an all-round captivating concert evening.
