And what do butterflies and the weather actually have to do with chaos? In this exhibition, you find out more about the Institute of Mathematics’ research into chaotic systems. It is not just theoretical. You can use a clever mathematical trick yourself to reach a straight line by unfolding a specific billiard-ball trajectory.
