Why was Xanthippe, the wife of the wise Socrates, so angry? How did more than 2000 years of oppression of the female perspective come about? Thanks to original compositions and repurposed cover versions, thanks to clowning and profound monologues, paired with wonderful ballads and multi-part singing, Apocalypso Blues becomes a hellish pleasure on every level.
