Both artists live and work in Tbilisi, Georgia. They have worked for several years intensively on developing miniature painting. They have developed this technique so that they repeatedly succeed in expressing the boundary between modern art and medieval book illumination in a very striking way. Today they paint and draw in various techniques. Mixed media on wood, plastic, iron and canvas. Oil pastel on paper. Icons in egg tempera on wood and frescoes in the traditional technique with pigments on fresh lime plaster.
