The museum’s permanent exhibition, redesigned in 2022, welcomes you with a humorous multimedia introduction show. Key objects from the history of the town of Liestal, such as the famous Roman quadriga mosaic, the gleaming Burgundian bowl or Carl Spitteler’s Nobel Prize medal for literature, are complemented by objects from cultural and economic history, as well as media stations.
