Bats are different and yet like us: they value quiet living space in villages, enjoy the company of their own kind and care tenderly for their young. Right outside our door, bats lead a life that is as fascinating as it is hidden. The exhibition presents typical species from the canton of Glarus, explains how they live and shows how you can experience and support bats. Real specimens, interactive stations, photos and films, as well as engaging information, invite you to discover these secret neighbours. Listening stations with bat calls provide acoustic experiences. Guided tours for school classes and groups on request. Public events according to the programme.
