In a typical Appenzeller house, in the village centre of Herisau, lovingly displayed marionettes, hand puppets and other figures invite you to immerse yourself in worlds full of fantasy and poetry. Here, children can not only admire the figures, but also, guided by the house cat, try puppetry for themselves at various stations or listen to exciting fairy tales. The exhibitions change periodically and let you discover new facets of puppetry again and again. The museum can also be reserved so you can view the exhibition in complete peace. Guided tours can also be booked for groups, with or without an apéro. The exhibitions are also presented in French and English. Admission prices: adults CHF 8.00, children CHF 5.00, families CHF 20.00 For children from the cantons of AR and SG, admission is free.
