Parc La Grange

Parc la Grange was opened to the public in 1918, after the Favre family donated it to the city. It is connected to the neighbouring Parc des Eaux-Vives by a door at the foot of the two parks. A mansion surrounded by fountains and floral arrangements dominates the grounds. Today, the highlight is the rose garden, laid out in 1945/46 to plans by Armand Auberson. The geometric line thus returned to the landscape park. In a large octagon, around 200 different rose varieties bloom. And at the annual «Concours international de roses nouvelles», rose growers from all over the world present their new varieties here.
