A9 – a road for everyone in the Pfyn forest reserve

Current archaeological excavations are bringing to light numerous traces of the past. The future of the Finges Forest will be revealed to you by the Finges Forest Research Platform of the WSL, the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research. The archaeologists working at the archaeological site in Pfynwald are sharing their findings from the excavation at Pfyngut, south of the cantonal road, with the public. At 3 p.m., we will take part in a guided tour of the discoveries on site. The current investigations are focusing on traces of medieval settlement. The excursion ends at approximately 5.30 p.m.
