Hike on the Schächentaler Höhenweg - sunny paths and alpine views

We start this easy and enjoyable hike with an eventful ride in an open cable car cabin. These charming cabins, affectionately called “Schiffli”, are now only still in use in a few places and set the scene for a very special afternoon’s walk. Once we arrive in Tristel, an impressive mountain world opens up before us. On comfortable, easy-to-walk paths, we hike along the Schächentaler Höhenweg and enjoy the peace and openness of the landscape. The path to Ruogig takes us through unspoilt nature, accompanied by a wonderful alpine panorama that invites us to pause again and again. On the way, we stop at an Alpbeizli for a coffee break and let the view sink in before we continue, freshly “refuelled”, towards our destination. An afternoon walk full of views, alpine panorama and the sun on your face – simply perfect for recharging and enjoying. Walking time: approx. 2.5 hrs. Duration of offer: approx. 5 hrs. Difference in altitude: 870 m ascent / 700 m descent. Distance: 10.6 km. Technical requirement: easy, T1. Fitness requirement: light. Food: from your rucksack and at an Alpbeizli en route.
