The Verzasca Dam at a glance This 220-metre-high and 380-metre-long arch dam stands at the entrance to the Verzasca Valley. Built between 1960 and 1965, it holds back the emerald-green Lago di Vogorno. In 1995, the wall became world-famous as a film location for the James Bond film «GoldenEye». A small museum inside tells you about the history and function of the structure.
