Museum visit: DENK MAL GLARUS

O tomto mieste
Heritage conservation plays a central role in the building culture of Glarnerland. It raises awareness of the value of buildings and townscapes worth protecting. These shape the region’s cultural identity just as much as the Alpine landscape does. In view of climate change, heritage protection also provides an effective form of environmental protection. The exhibition compares buildings that have been lost with those still standing and presents an overview of successful examples from Glarnerland. It is curated at the invitation of the cantonal specialist office for heritage conservation by Glarus architect Reto Fuchs and Andreas Ruby, in collaboration with Countdown2030. On the opening afternoon, the project team will be there and available to answer your questions. COSTS: MUSEUM ADMISSION | INTERACTIONS: FREE
