Mosi-Musig came about after the Mosibuebä split up. The Mosibuebä had enjoyed playing Schwyzerörgeli music since school. This was no coincidence, as there were several musicians in the family, such as the Betschart’s (Pitschä) and Albert Lüönd. In his younger years, Pauli often played with Rees Gwerder and was very interested in the style of the old Uri and Muotatal accordion players. He was also a big fan of the Schmidbuebe. Alois was very interested in the playing of Bernhardin Schmidig (Lunni's Bärädi). Later, the Örgelidoktor Martin Nauer inspired him, and he also performed many times with him. He also followed the old music of the Schwyzerörgeli virtuosos Josef Stump and Balz Schmidig, as well as Ernst Inglin. With Pauli’s and Alois’s original compositions, the distinctive Mosi style developed. Some young Örgeli players now perform these dances too, helping to secure the continuation of the Mosi-Sound's. Daniel Gwerder had similar role models to the Mosibuebä. He is also interested in the music of Kasi Geisser and Josias Jenny. His father and grandfather were also enthusiastic Schwyzerörgeli players. With his original compositions, he enriched the Mosibuebä’s repertoire. Thomas Scherrer was also very interested in old Örgeli music and in the Mosibuebä. He plays many of Pauli’s pieces and some of Alois’s in a very faithful way. On bass, it is officially Philipp Schuler or Häppy Imholz, with Kari Schorno as substitute. At Mosi-Musig performances, people often asked for a recording. The idea came from Alois Lüönd jun. and various musicians who still wanted to make a CD. There were also some new and unreleased pieces. That is how this new CD came about, with the various formations and musicians together with Mosi-Wysel. During the recordings at Markus Flückiger, they used the time without performances to record a few more tracks, and so a double CD came about straight away, with several musicians and companions of Wysel.
