On Saturday, 26 September 2026, the fourth «Bier & Gnuss a dä Zahnradbahn» invites you to board the rack railway, get off and enjoy yourself. Sonnenbräu, Brauerei Locher and Goba surprise you along the Altstätten-Gais line with a wide range of delicious beers and drinks. A sociable event you shouldn’t miss. It doesn’t matter whether you come with your club, your family, friends or on your own. The «Bier & Gnuss a dä Zahnradbahn» starts either at Altstätten Stadt station or at Gais station. Equipped with a tasting glass, you can enjoy a total of 14 beers from Sonnenbräu and Brauerei Locher, 3 digestifs and 2 Goba drinks at five different stops. There is also a regional speciality at Rietli stop. You are free to choose the order of the stops. The ticket includes a day pass for the Altstätten-Gais railway.
