City Park

Over deze plek

It used to be the garden to house no. 25 on Rorschacher Strasse. In 1880, the museum building fundamentally changed the city park. On the east side of the museum, the Botanical Garden was laid out in strict geometric forms, and was later moved to the east of the city. In the middle of the park, the Volièren-Gesellschaft built an octagonal enclosure. To this day, the city park offers a representative green space for the neighbouring St.Gallen theatre.
