We congratulate Esther Hasler and celebrate 20 years of solo theatre! At Esther Halser’s, it isn’t the beams that bend, but the room. Freed from all restraint, she dazzles at a rapid pace with witty texts, subtle facial expressions and magnificent acting. She amazes with vocal nuances, virtuoso piano playing and earthy groove. Added to that is exuberant wordplay in a lively Esperanto of stage German, French and dialects. Cosmic piano cabaret for night owls and moonstruck souls, pessimists and seers, space walkers and dreamers. Let yourself be shot into orbit, where ESTHER-terrestrial entertainment awaits: a cosmic, comic shower of sparks, a satirical supernova, a refreshing shower of shooting stars. The incredible lightness of weightlessness. Thanks to her unique piano drive alone, Esther Hasler narrowly escaped the Big Bang and has since been throwing Stephen Hawking’s calculation models and those of his clever friends into confusion. She wanders curiously and with relish through the lower reaches of the condition humaine and simply cannot find any reason to despair. At the end of the tunnel, wonderful "Lichtjahre" are waiting.
