Hike to Turrian Bridge

Over deze plek

Built in 1883, Turrian Bridge is the oldest suspension bridge in French-speaking Switzerland and one of the few still open to pedestrians. You can reach the bridge on foot from Château-d’Oex. It crosses the Saane and forms the gateway to the Le Ramaclé floodplain, which is especially known for the beauty of its waterfall. The Ramaclé waterfall lies halfway between Château-d'Oex and Gérignoz in a forest on the Saane. Two streams, La Rosette and Le Ramaclé, meet here and form the Ramaclé waterfall, which you can admire from a wooden bridge. A large picnic table invites you to take a short break in this beautiful landscape. Further information
