At the foot of the Old Town in the city centre, Parc des Bastions has a large green space, huge trees and plenty of fresh air. For example, the city’s first botanical garden was once in this park. There is a lot to discover here: the well-known Reformation Monument, erected in memory of the most important figures of the Reformation, Palais Eynard, which is used as the town hall, the library and the University of Geneva. Behind the chess pieces, you will also find a popular restaurant and a large adventure playground for children.
