Om dette stedet

Triceratops «Willard», owned by Sauriermuseum Aathal, thrilled over 890'000 visitors at a dinosaur show in Hong Kong in 2022. It is now on display in its true home – for the first time in a museum in Europe. The largest known Triceratops skeleton to date was discovered in 2017 on a ranch in North Dakota, USA. During the assembly of this original skeleton at Sauriermuseum Aathal, it became clear that it is an exceptionally large animal. Its measurements of 8.5 metres in length and 3.5 metres in height have not yet been matched by any other find of this kind. Alongside the original Triceratops «Willard», the exhibition also shows ten other impressive skulls from the ceratopsian family. They had developed the craziest horns and neck frills.
