Pizalun viewing platform

The Pizalun viewing platform on the St. Margrethenberg plateau offers a 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains of St Gallen and Graubünden. Thanks to the panoramic boards, you can easily name the many mountains all around you. At your feet lie the Bündner Herrschaft and the Sarganserland. And the view along the Rhine reaches as far as Lake Constance in clear weather. You can reach the viewing platform from the bottom station of the Tristeli ski lift in just under an hour. A gently rising hiking trail leads you through woods and flower-rich meadows towards the Pizalun summit. A steep but well-built staircase leads all the way up to the Pizalun viewing platform. From the Pizalun down towards Fürggli, a pleasant hiking trail passes the Bergwirtschaft Jägeri. Back on the plateau, you return to the starting point along the road, which is rarely used.
