Guided tour of Arbon old town

The very rich history of Arbon is given a voice by the town guides. As early as the Neolithic period, around 3000 BC, there was a pile-dwelling settlement on what is now Arbon land. The Romans came and left parts of a town wall, towers and more. For a long time, Arbon’s Adolph Saurer AG was the most important Swiss manufacturer of lorries. Participants learn this and more on the public tours through the historic small town from mid-June to mid-September.
