Autumn days with pumpkin carving

Autumn is pumpkin season: in Switzerland, autumn begins with the harvest season, Thanksgiving and Halloween, a period in which pumpkins play a central role – visually and culturally. In the last days of the season, everything at the nature station also revolves around autumn and pumpkins. At an information table, our young and adult guests learn how nature and animals prepare for winter. When carving pumpkins, children and their companions can let their creativity run free, train their fine motor skills and, relaxed outdoors by the picnic area, carve cheerful spooky Halloween faces. Tools and templates are provided. Pumpkins can be bought on site - while stocks last.
