For the latest exhibition, the Cantonal Hospital of Graubünden has invited the glass artist Hubert Crevoisier to set up his studio in the hospital for a few days each year. Crevoisier, a magician of light, uses his art of coloured glass to create spaces where he invites patients and staff for an hour “on prescription”. The idea is that they can watch the artist at work, talk or stay silent, work on their own sculpture or on the collective artwork, so that mind and emotions can open up when words no longer help. Doctors at the KSGR prescribe their patients an hour’s visit to Hubert Crevoisier’s studio: art on prescription.
