Storytelling Café on the Theme of "Gardens"

First Storytelling Café as part of the exhibition “Candide’s Garden,” held either in the cozy farmhouse parlor or in the secluded old garden of the Höfli 7 cultural center, depending on the weather. Host Susanne Franklin, who trained at the FHNW, looks forward to hearing the participants’ memories, experiences, and thoughts following a brief introduction to the exhibition’s theme, “Garden.” Listening is mandatory; sharing stories is optional. Storytelling cafés take place throughout Switzerland and in neighboring countries at libraries, museums, and community centers. They’re an excellent way to connect, allowing participants to quickly get to know one another and perhaps gain a surprising insight or two. The first hour is a group session; during the second hour, conversations can continue in smaller interest groups. And don’t worry—no one has to drink coffee in the evening; a selection of beverages will be available. Admission is free (donations welcome); registration is requested at [email protected], but walk-ins are also welcome.
