1823 DAYS - A project by Claudius Fischer
Erről a helyről
The lockdown, the broken egg, Asterix and Obelix, a hail of bombs, the last rose, birthdays, the delayed train, the papal election – do you remember? Since early 2020, Claudius Fischer tears off a calendar page every day and uses it as the base for a pencil scribble, a sketch of the newspaper photo, stick figures or a coloured nature study. A visual diary has emerged, dealing very simply with the small and large things of everyday life. Whether it is a comic character, geometric patterns, a black-and-white play of shadows or the portrait of the Federal Councillor riding into the red of evening, these are fragments of memory standing up to forgetting.
