Nothing But Thieves return to Zurich After celebrating their tenth anniversary last year – with four albums, billions of streams, thousands of live shows worldwide and a loyal international fanbase –, the five-piece band from Southend returned last week with new music in the shape of their euphoric new single «Evolution». They mark the start of their next chapter with the announcement of their fifth album «Stray Dogs», out on 25 September, as well as their biggest headline tour to date in 2027, taking them across the UK and Ireland, Europe, the United States and Canada. They cement their status as one of the biggest touring bands in the UK and Europe. The first taste of the band’s new music came with the new single «Evolution», premiered last week as part of their YouTube livestream to 250 people in the room and millions of fans worldwide, and introduced by Jack Saunders as the «Hottest Record» on Radio 1. With a deft ability to experiment across the genres that influence them as a band, the upbeat, fast-moving track combines floating vocals and driving guitars into a communal alt-pop anthem that is uniquely and brilliantly typical of Nothing But Thieves. With a subtle lyrical nod to a live club in their hometown that shaped their early days, the track evokes harmony, nostalgia and hope. In 2023, Nothing But Thieves landed their first number 1 album with «Dead Club City», their fourth top-10 album after «Moral Panic», «Broken Machine» and «Nothing But Thieves». For their latest album they toured on the «The DCC World Tour», which included two sold-out nights at London’s Wembley Arena and numerous sold-out arenas and shows across Europe and North America. With more than 1.2 million albums sold worldwide, 2 billion streams and 250 million video views, they have built a loyal and wide fanbase with their powerful alternative rock sound and enjoyed success with multiple gold and platinum albums around the world. After a secret headline concert in Newcastle, the band will perform at festivals across Europe this summer and support Biffy Clyro at their open-air shows in London and Edinburgh. Today they announced their biggest headline tour to date, which begins in January 2027 and includes concerts in the UK and Ireland, Europe, the United States and Canada.
