It was created in 1997 in connection with the new construction of the Werkhof des Städtischen Werke. The pavilion sculpture was designed by Max Bill in 1994 and created in 1997 from Italian granite. The surroundings were completely redesigned by the landscape architects Aubort Raderschall, with the exception of the trees.
