Erről a helyről

Museum Luzern is showing a selection from the cantonal art collection it took over in September 2025 for the first time. Under the title Visible! Animals from the art depot, 25 works are on display in the Haus Pfistergasse, each engaging with animal motifs in different ways. The presentation is part of the 2026 annual theme ‘Making Visible’ and refers to the special exhibition Invisible? Animals in Hiding, which will be shown from 12 June 2026 to 21 February 2027 at Museum Luzern. Many of the works on display were previously stored in the depot and were therefore not accessible to the public. The works adorn the foyer wall in the Haus Pfistergasse in a colourful salon-style hanging. Instead of a chronological or stylistic order, they are grouped by theme. It is precisely the diversity of the works that gives the presentation its appeal: paintings, graphics, a glass mosaic and even macramé meet in a lively mix. Works by Joseph von Moos, Irma Stadelmann, Hans-Rudolf Ambauen, Irma Ineichen and Peter Ryser are among those on show.
