Your snowboard instructor builds on your skills. Depending on your level, he practices different abilities and techniques with you. Beginners learn to maintain their balance. After that, your instructor helps you practice gliding to gain initial success experiences on flat terrain. Once the basics are established, you will start making your first turns and learn to control your speed on easy blue slopes. With growing experience, the technique becomes more precise, allowing you to master and ride red slopes smoothly.

This course is aimed at snowboarders of levels 1 to 5:

Level 1: Complete Beginner: No prior knowledge required – everyone starts somewhere. With patience and the right guidance, you will learn the basics of snowboarding.

Level 2: Advanced Beginner (1): You have mastered the magic carpet and the drag lift and can somewhat control your speed and direction on practice slopes.

Level 3: Advanced Beginner (2): Familiar with all lifts on practice and easy slopes, you can confidently carve turns and adjust your speed in any situation.

Level 4: Intermediate: Blue slopes are no problem for you. You turn fluidly and are confident on your heel and toe edges as a snowboarder.

Level 5: Advanced Intermediate: You feel comfortable on red slopes in good conditions. Challenges like ice, moguls, or deep snow are an exciting next step for you.

You can individually arrange the meeting point with the provider after booking. Here are some suggestions for possible meeting points:

• Gornergrat Station: At the entrance to the Gornergrat railway station.
• Sunnegga Express bottom: Base station of the funicular. In front of the main ticket office near the slope map.
• Sunnegga Express top: Mountain station of the funicular. The instructor will wait directly outside the main exit on the right side.
• Matterhorn Express base station: In front of the main ticket office at the slope map.
• Riffelberg exit: Exit Riffelberg of the Riffelberg Express.
• Trockener Steg: This is the last stop of the Matterhorn Express. The meeting point is outside the lift in the snow.

For beginners, the two Sunnegga meeting points are the most suitable.
