"Kids Groups" Ski School Half Day Children 6-15 Years in Zermatt

Your child will be placed in a suitable group based on their abilities. Whether it's their first time on skis or they are already confidently skiing down the mountain, there is the right group for every child. The children learn in small groups in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The dedicated ski instructors are always by their side. The children have exciting experiences on a range of slopes, from easy to more challenging ones. They will be gradually introduced to more difficult tasks, appropriate to their respective level.

This course is aimed at young skiers of levels 1 to 6:

Level 1: Complete Beginner: No prior knowledge required – everyone starts somewhere. With patience and the right guidance, you will learn the basics of skiing.

Level 2: Advanced Beginner (1): You master the magic carpet and the T-bar lift and can already somewhat control your speed and direction on practice slopes.

Level 3: Advanced Beginner (2): Familiar with all lifts on practice and easy slopes, you can confidently make turns and adjust your speed in any situation.

Level 4: Intermediate: Blue slopes are no problem for you. You make turns smoothly and occasionally keep your skis parallel as a skier.

Level 5: Advanced Intermediate: You feel comfortable on red slopes in good conditions. Challenges like ice, moguls, or powder snow are an exciting next step for you.

Level 6: Advanced: You ski confidently on red slopes in all conditions and can manage most black slopes. You want to improve in mogul skiing, off-piste, or carving.

The Sunnegga Station is located at the northern end of the village, at the height of the river. In front of the station, there is a large open area that serves as a meeting point. This is where all groups of the Altitude Ski School gather.
