Description
After a boat tour through the Rhine Falls basin, you’ll cruise downstream to the Rheinau power station. You have to leave the boat there because the vessel is transported over the first weir.
You can watch as the boat is pulled across to the other side on a trolley. The journey then continues past the Rheinau monastery island to the second weir, which you also have to pass.
The boat sails under a 200-year-old wooden bridge to the third and final weir, known as the "Stollenauslauf".
After crossing this last weir, the natural flow of the Rhine begins and you can enjoy the remainder of the trip to Eglisau. The return trip is made the same way after a 45-minute break.
With this ticket, you can choose between three options:
- Eglisau - Rhine Falls one way (approx. 4:00 hours)
- Rhine Falls - Eglisau one way (approx. 3:15 hours)
- Rhine Falls - Eglisau - Rhine Falls round trip (approx. 8:00 hours)
Useful information:
- Dogs are not allowed
- The boat ride is not suitable for wheelchair users as access to the boats is only possible via stairs and there is no barrier-free entry.
- Travel by train to "Neuhausen Rheinfall." From there, it’s a pleasant 15-minute walk to the Schlössli Wörth landing stage.
- Cold meals offered include salad plates, sausage and cheese salad garnished, Rhine Falls plate, cheese plate, colourful raw vegetable plate, and fisherman's feast plate.

Important information
- No toilet available on board during the trip (WC stop in Rheinau)
- The ship is fully glazed with windows on bad weather days
- If there are too few participants, the trip may be cancelled up to 4 days before the date.
- Children up to 5 years old travel for free
- If arriving from Schloss Laufen (not included), allow enough time for the crossing to Schlössli Wörth (approx. 15 minutes)
- Boarding starts 10 minutes before departure.
